If you want a dedicated, sturdy mount to keep your headphones off the desk and organized in your workspace, choose Avantree Neetto HS907; if you need a playful, decorative attachment to customize the look of your existing headset for streaming or gaming, choose REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears. These two products solve completely different problems: one is about physical organization and protection, while the other is purely aesthetic customization. I have analyzed the specifications and design intent of both items to help you decide which one actually belongs on your setup.
• Avantree Neetto HS907: Its biggest strength is providing a secure, non-abrasive resting place for heavy headsets using a curved silicone cradle, but its trade-off is that it is strictly an accessory that requires installation and does not change how the headset sounds or feels. This pick is for anyone trying to declutter a desk or protect expensive gear from scratches.
• REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears: Its biggest strength is instantly transforming a standard gaming headset into a unique, eye-catching prop with adjustable straps, but its trade-off is that it adds no functional value like noise cancellation or better audio, and it only fits specific headband widths. This pick is for content creators, streamers, or gamers who want their avatar or live feed to look more lively and cute.
• The Avantree is the practical choice for best in ear earbuds for pc users who also own large over-ear headphones and want them safe when not in use.
• The REEYEAR is the perfect addition for those seeking a best kids headset for pc setup that looks fun, or simply for adults wanting a foldable wireless headset for pc to stand out during video calls.
The Avantree Neetto HS907 is designed with a singular, clear purpose: keeping your audio equipment tidy and safe. If you are someone who frequently takes off their headphones to type, eat, or focus, leaving them lying on a desk creates a mess and risks damaging the headband or ear cups. This hanger solves that by offering a dedicated spot mounted under a desk or on a wall. The design features a soft, non-abrasive silicone cover that wraps around a sturdy internal frame. This curvature is engineered to match the natural arc of most headphone bands, ensuring the device rests securely without slipping.

What makes this product particularly valuable for a PC setup is its versatility in placement. You can install it virtually anywhere—on cabinet doors, glass surfaces, monitor stands, or even the side of a desktop tower. The adhesive double-sided tape provides a strong hold, though the instructions emphasize cleaning the surface thoroughly and waiting 24 hours for the bond to set before hanging anything on it. It handles a maximum weight of 1 kg, which covers almost all standard gaming headsets and studio monitors.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you are looking for a way to make your headset look cooler or improve your audio quality, this will not help you. It is purely functional. Furthermore, it requires a permanent or semi-permanent installation. If you live in a rental space where drilling holes is forbidden and you do not want to deal with adhesive residue after a year, this might not be the right fit. It is also unsuitable for wet, greasy, or dusty surfaces, so placing it in a kitchen or near a sink is a bad idea. But for a clean, organized home office where you want to prevent your headphones from falling off the edge of the table, it is an excellent, low-profile solution.
On the other end of the spectrum, the REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears serves a very different audience. This is not a tool for organization; it is a fashion statement and a personality booster for your audio gear. The product consists of a pair of silicone cat ears attached to an elastic silicone belt that wraps around the headband of your headset. The primary goal here is to turn a conventional, dull gaming headset into something that looks lively and unique. The material is described as environmentally friendly soft silicone, which ensures a snug fit that prevents the ears from sliding around during active use.
This accessory is ideal for people who spend a significant amount of time on camera, whether they are live streaming on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, or just taking frequent video calls. The "lively kitty" design adds a layer of charm that can make a professional or casual gamer appear more approachable and fun. The kit includes adjustable straps, allowing the width to be modified to fit headbands between 1.1 inches and 1.5 inches wide. This universality means it works with many popular brands, including HyperX Cloud series, Razer BlackShark V2, SteelSeries, Logitech G Pro, Sony WH-1000XM4, Beats Studio3, Bose QuietComfort, and JBL Tune 510BT.
That said, this product has clear limitations. It does not add any audio functionality; there are no built-in microphones, drivers, or connectivity features. It is purely cosmetic. The installation is simple—you just wrap the elastic band around your existing headband—but it relies entirely on the fit of your current headset. If your headband is too thin or too thick outside the specified range, it won't work. Additionally, while the silicone is durable and waterproof, it is not a structural reinforcement for the headset itself. It is best suited for those who want to personalize their gear for social media presence or who simply love the aesthetic of animal-themed accessories. It is a great gift for a partner or friend who loves gaming and wants their setup to reflect a bit of whimsy.
• Best for battery life and storage → Avantree Neetto HS907: While neither product affects battery life directly, the Avantree keeps your wireless headset safe and ready to charge, preventing it from being lost or damaged in a drawer, whereas the REEYEAR is worn on the headset and does not aid in storage management.
• Best for desk organization → Avantree Neetto HS907: If your workspace is cluttered and you constantly knock your headphones off the table, the Avantree provides a fixed, reliable anchor point that clears your surface area immediately.
• Best for visual appeal and streaming → REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears: If your priority is looking good on camera or making your gear stand out visually, the REEYEAR offers a unique design element that the plain black plastic of the Avantree cannot provide.
• Best for durability and protection → Avantree Neetto HS907: The silicone-covered cradle protects your expensive headphones from scratches and falls, a benefit the lightweight REEYEAR accessory does not offer since it sits loosely on top of the band.
• Best for adjustability and universal fit → REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears: The elastic silicone belt allows for a custom fit across a wide range of headband widths (1.1 to 1.5 inches), making it adaptable to many different headset models without needing a specific mounting surface.
• Best for minimalism → Avantree Neetto HS907: The sleek black design blends into a professional office environment, whereas the pink and black cat ears are a bold statement piece that may not suit a formal setting.
• Best for portability and ease of removal → REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears: You can slide these off your headset in seconds if you don't want them, while the Avantree requires tools or peeling force to remove once installed.
• Best for heavy headsets → Avantree Neetto HS907: With a 1 kg capacity, it can handle bulky, high-end studio headphones that might be too heavy for the elastic strap of the REEYEAR to support comfortably.
I would buy the Avantree Neetto HS907 for my daily PC setup because I prioritize keeping my equipment safe and my desk free of clutter. The ability to mount it under the desk and know my headphones won't fall or get scratched is a practical benefit that outweighs the aesthetic appeal of the cat ears. However, if you are a content creator or simply want to inject some fun into your gaming rig for for pc use, the REEYEAR Cute Cat Ears is the better choice. In my opinion, the Avantree is the essential tool for maintenance and order, while the REEYEAR is a fun, optional decoration for those who care more about style than storage.
The product is designed to fit headbands with a width between 1.1 inches and 1.5 inches. As long as the metal headband falls within this width range, the elastic silicone strap should secure it properly.
The product is rated for a maximum total weight of 1 kg, which accommodates most standard headphones and headsets, but you must ensure the adhesive is allowed to set for 24 hours before hanging any weight on it.
No, the product is purely decorative and made of soft silicone. It contains no audio drivers, microphones, or connectivity technology and serves only as a visual attachment.
