If you want a future-proof listening setup with massive battery life and the ability to share audio seamlessly with a partner or group, choose Avantalk Infinity; if you need studio-grade audio fidelity, ultra-low latency for gaming, and superior call clarity in noisy environments, choose Edifier NeoBuds Planar TWS.
• Avantalk Infinity offers an industry-leading 48-hour total battery life and unique Auracast broadcasting capabilities, but its semi-open design means it lacks the deep bass isolation of fully sealed earbuds.
• Edifier NeoBuds Planar TWS delivers high-resolution audio with planar magnetic drivers and hybrid ANC, yet it provides a shorter 30-hour battery life compared to its competitor.
• Best For: The Avantalk Infinity is ideal for travelers, commuters, and anyone needing to share media without a transmitter, while the Edifier NeoBuds Planar TWS fits audiophiles, gamers, and professionals requiring top-tier sound precision.
The Avantalk Infinity is built for the listener who prioritizes longevity and connectivity flexibility over absolute sonic sealing. Its most defining feature is the inclusion of two pairs of earbuds within a single case, a configuration that fundamentally changes how you approach shared listening experiences. Whether you are commuting with a spouse or working in a busy office where you need to switch between focus and awareness, having two distinct units allows for instant sharing or independent use. This dual-pair design is particularly relevant for those seeking the best low latency clip on earbuds for library settings where silence is paramount but social connection matters.
Battery life is another area where this product shines, boasting up to 48 hours of playtime with the charging case. This specification makes it an exceptional choice for long-haul travelers, multi-day business trips, or anyone who hates the routine of nightly charging. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.2 and support for aptX Adaptive ensures that when you do connect to your phone, tablet, or PC, the audio quality remains robust and the connection stable. Furthermore, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) works to block out engine noise and chatter, providing a necessary barrier against distractions, though the semi-open enclosure suggests a more airy soundstage rather than complete acoustic isolation.
You should buy the Avantalk Infinity if your primary use case involves travel, gym sessions, or public spaces where you might need to quickly hand off music to a friend using the Auracast feature. The app control allows you to personalize the EQ and update firmware, adding a layer of modern convenience. However, you should skip this option if you are a purist who demands the deepest possible bass response or if you work in a completely silent environment like a private study room where any ambient sound leakage could be an issue. The semi-open design is a trade-off that favors comfort and situational awareness over total immersion.

The Edifier NeoBuds Planar TWS is engineered for the user who treats audio as a serious hobby or a professional necessity. At its core lies the 12mm planar magnetic driver technology, which utilizes an ultra-thin diaphragm and advanced wiring to eliminate distortion. This results in a balanced, studio-grade sound profile that captures intricate details often lost in standard dynamic driver headphones. If you are looking for the best neckband headphones for library style focus but prefer the true wireless form factor, these buds offer the sonic clarity required for critical listening. They are designed to handle Hi-Res Audio Wireless via LDAC, LHDC 5.0, and aptX Lossless, supporting 96kHz/24bit audio streams that reveal the full depth of your favorite tracks.
Connectivity and latency performance are equally impressive, driven by Bluetooth 5.4 and Snapdragon Sound certification. These features enable a 60ms low-latency mode, making the earbuds highly responsive for gaming and video watching where lip-sync issues are unacceptable. The Hybrid ANC adapts dynamically to your environment, blocking up to 40dB of noise, which is crucial for maintaining focus in chaotic settings like open offices or crowded transit hubs. Additionally, the six-microphone system with AI algorithms ensures that your voice comes through crystal clear during calls, even when background noise is high. This makes them a strong candidate for the kids headset for library or educational settings where clear instruction monitoring is vital, although they are primarily aimed at adults.
You should purchase the Edifier NeoBuds Planar TWS if you value sound quality above all else and need a device that can handle high-resolution files with precision. The IP55 resistance rating adds durability for workouts and outdoor commutes, ensuring sweat and light rain won't damage the electronics. The smart wear detection and auto play/pause features add convenience, while the fast-charging capability (10 minutes for 2 hours of playback) helps mitigate the slightly lower total battery life of 30 hours. Conversely, if your main concern is simply getting the longest possible runtime without thinking about it, or if you don't care about lossless audio codecs, the extra cost and shorter battery span might not justify the upgrade from standard models.

I would personally choose the Edifier NeoBuds Planar TWS because the combination of planar magnetic drivers and high-resolution audio support offers a listening experience that feels genuinely premium and precise. For a library setting where quiet focus and detailed audio are essential, the superior ANC and call clarity of the Edifier model provide the professional edge I need to stay productive and immersed.
