About Me

Hi, I'm Ava Heaton. I'm a 3+1 journalism major with a minor in sports studies at Quinnipiac University. I'm a Q30TV Beat Reporter for both Men's Ice Hockey and Lacrosse while I also produce the station's weekly sports news show, Sports Paws.

I'm originally from Mount Sinai, New York and I have always had a deep love for sports, especially hockey and baseball. My goal is to expand on my knowledge of sports and make it a more welcoming space for women.
