Biography
Ava Magnabosco is a passionate outdoor educator and writer, who graduated from the University of Oregon in 2024. A native Texan, Ava grew up playing sports, swimming in the Rio Grande, and was always drawn to science. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Ava expanded her passion for the natural world by learning in the classroom and connecting with the outdoors independently. Environmental education intersects her personal interests and professional strengths, and is a valued way to share her enthusiasm for nature with others, and inspire the next generation. Her teaching approach centers student voices, hands-on scientific learning through exploration. She prioritizes creating a safe and welcoming space for student collaboration, learning, and genuine connection to nature.
