Biography
Ava Magnabosco is a graduate from the University of Oregon who is a passionate outdoor educator and is a writer. A native Texan, Ava grew up playing sports, swimming in the Rio Grande, and had a major interest in science. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Ava expanded her passion for the natural world by learning in the classroom and connecting with the outdoors independently. Environmental education intersects her personal interests and professional strengths, and unearthed a way to share her enthusiasm for nature with others. Her teaching approach centers student voices, hands-on scientific learning and exploration of nature, and prioritizes creating a safe and welcoming space for student collaboration, learning, and genuine connection to nature.
