The honey sweet months between the end of the sweltering heat of summer and the sharp cold of winter bring a golden hue to the treetops as the sun dips out the light on the world like a healthy serving of warm broth.
The greenery is vibrant with other colors besides the fan favorite evergreen. The dusty reds to bright yellows are what get this season called "beautiful". Whoever said dying was ugly?
A skeleton of what is to come echoes what has not yet fallen. The flight of leaves for up above to the solid ground is "breath taking". Towering over, the branches stand bare as the cold wind snaps at them.
The afterglow of the afternoon sets the world on fire, but it's too far to touch to hold onto forever.Â
