I am attempting to create a Smartthings "Wall Panel" using an Android Tablet and ActionTiles. I have downloaded Tasker, Motion Detector and AutoStart ( =com.autostart) But I am unable to figure out how to have my ActionTiles Panel automatically open when the tablet is turned on. I'm struggling to get Eddie to autostart and autoconnect on boot on a Fire TV 2 (Xiaomi). I have read that this should be supported in some other posts. Re-connect after wake from standby works as expected and flawlessly. If the TV is power-cylcled or fully rebooted though Eddie doesn't create a connection. I'm not sure if it starts at all because I don't really have found a way of verify the running state of the app without first opening it, which obviously gives me a running app but no connection.

Even when manually opening the app no connection is made automatically. I went through all of the settings and everything I could find that seems remotely related looks correct (remember login, start VPN connection at device boot, priority to last connected, autologin sessions)

Anything else that I might be missing or that I can check? Or is this a known limitation?

I have some Problems with the autostart of panoramic videos. They just won't start even toggled by an onclick action. They wait for the touch event until they start. I have a related question. If I have both the Host app ( I have installed it on a Lenovo android phone) and the quick support app installed on the phone, would the host app allow me to access the phone whenever I want to? or would the quick support app prevent the unattended access?

However, an important thing to note, you cannot connect to android with an ID and Password for unnatended access. The device must be assigned to an account (this is done inside the host app) and then selected from your contacts list for you to connect to this.

After much frustration with this same issue, turning off everything in pandora and my phone, i have found another place that was the culprit. Android installed an app that isnt in the list, that you can only get to by clicking on the 3 dots to the right of the open pandora label on your (open apps) screen. The one after logging in that tells u notifications. After messing around in there and turning off everything i could find, it finally stops the autoplay but still allows for me to play on the bluetooth when i choose. And doesnt keep reopening when i close it down. How to get there, i could not retrace for you. But k ow if you have done all you can in pandora and your car apps and phone apps, there is one more place android has provided for your frustration.

I think i might have a solution to the problem

i created a post android module

touch postmodule.rb

copy it to the metasploit source directory

cp postmodule /usr/share/metasploit-framework/modules/post/android/manage/

now paste this code into the postmodule.rb file in the metasploit folder

you could write the .rc file to automatically background the sessions and run the post module, i am suspecting that you already know this. I had this same problem and didnt know what to do then i wondered how does metasploit run post module. I checked out one of the post module script, having prior programming knowledge of python i was able to understand the ruby code, anyways what i understand is that in the common.rb file there is a class i cant remember but it has the cmd_exe method. Im not sure, but I think this method guess the kind of meterpreter sessions you have either android or windows and then i create a channel of some sort not sure maybe someone could explain. Anyways with this, you could run any non root comamand. this was very simple but the point is you just have to read and understand. I think i will do some forther researching to add rooted command. I think there is another file or class called :priv which will do this im not sure. ff782bc1db
