Errors and Warnings (modelname.err file)

E: Error, line 32: Expecting '(' after 'ArrayPtr'

S: When using a function reference as an expression, the function must return a value that is the same type as the expression (for example, to use a function reference as a block pointer expression, the function must return a value of type BlockPtr). AutoMod functions are written in the AutoMod language, that can be used as an expression in another function or a procedure. AutoMod f1unctions should not be treated as regular c functions as you have attempted with your syntax.

E: Line 10 (layout.asy): ERROR: unknown record label `599'/ `140'/'700'

S: (Maybe) dropbox has not synched files in directory yet.

E: Expecting lvalue : variable is not declared

S: Check spelling of variable. Variable is not declared.

Make Errors (AutoMod Editor error)

E: Unable to build Model

S1: AutoMod is very picky about the Path especially if you have multiple versions installed. Make sure environtmental variable is set to correct path.

S2: try and delete the license files this will require you to reenter the hardware key code. Here are the files you should delete if found in the %ASI%\bin folder:

ASI.126.10
ASI.126.20
ASI.126.80
ASI.50.50

S3: Try starting AutoMod from AutoMod's command prompt setup . Enter am2 (or am264) to start AutoMod from the prompt. Please remember to always start the command prompt by right clicking on the command prompt setup start menu link and select Run as Administrator. The command shell needs to show administrator in the title to guarantee full permissions.

E: fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'math.h' : No such file or directory

S: Mix of variables / attributes of different type with the same name, e.g:

VAR name foobar 0 type real
VAR name foobar 0 type Integer
ATT name foobar 0 type Integer

E: "importing system ~model (Crash)

AutoMod Freezes / Crashes (AutoMod/Runtime)

E: Runtime Freezes. Applied AutoMod Runtime Not respontning (Reason: Most likely due to a load stuck in a while loop)

S: Enter debugger and press continue
