The ICML conference

ICML is the leading international machine learning conference and is supported by the International Machine Learning Society (IMLS). The 37th International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2020) will be held in Vienna, Austria Sunday July 12 -- Saturday July 18, 2020. Further information, including information about the venue, is available on their website.

We will provide a link to the workshop on the conference website once it exists: Link.

The AutoML workshop series

The AutoML workshop has been held yearly at ICML since 2014 and additionally at ECMLPKDD in 2017. These workshops have had a healthy overlap in attendance with a series of workshops on Bayesian optimization (BayesOpt, 2011-2017) and Meta-Learning (2017-2019) that have been held at NeurIPS. Workshop attendance of AutoML@ICML has been steadily increasing, to almost 1000 participants at ICML 2019, making it the 3rd largest workshop.

Remark on COVID-19:

Due to COVID-19 the workshop will be completely virtual. All keynote talks and contributed talks will be streamed and followed by a live Q&A session. Each accepted paper has a one-minute spotlight presentation which will be streamed, too. In additional, there will be a Zoom session for each accepted paper during one of the two poster sessions to ask questions to the authors and discuss their work. The final panel discussion will also be streamed live.

We will post links to the individual events on the day of the workshop.
