Welcome to Auto Insurance ("we", "our", or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Android application. Auto Insurance is designed as an insurance information and assistance tool. You can use all features without creating an account, signing in, or verifying your identity with OTP or any other method.

2. No Registration or Authentication
The App does not require login, registration, password, or OTP verification. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or government ID to use the App.

3. Information You May Enter
While using the App, you may voluntarily enter or select information for demonstration purposes, including:

• Vehicle details in the Premium Calculator (type, manufacturer, model year, estimated value, driving history)

• Preferences in Profile (such as dark mode, notification settings, and language selection)

• Simulated claim assistance inputs (upload placeholders for photos, videos, or documents are for UI demonstration only and do not send files anywhere)

This information is used only to display results and settings within the App on your device.

4. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not operate a backend server connected to this App for storing your personal data. We do not collect:

• Account credentials or authentication data

• Precise GPS or location data (location shown in roadside and repair features is sample/demo content)

• Payment or banking information

• Contacts, call logs, or SMS messages

• Advertising identifiers for targeted ads

5. How Your Data Is Used
Any data you enter is processed locally on your device to:

• Show insurance plan information, comparisons, and calculators

• Display claim assistance, tracking simulations, and educational resources

• Remember your in-app preferences (e.g. theme and notification toggle)

Insurance quotes, claim status, and assistance requests shown in the App are illustrative and for demonstration only. They are not real insurance contracts or binding offers.

6. Data Storage and Retention
App preferences and in-session inputs are stored on your device. We do not upload this data to our servers. If you uninstall the App or clear app data from your device settings, locally stored information is removed.

7. Permissions
Auto Insurance is built to work without invasive permissions. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location for core features. Document upload areas in the claims section are visual placeholders only and do not access your files unless you grant permission through a future update—which is not required for current demo functionality.

8. Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Because the App does not connect to our servers, your entered data is not transmitted to us or to insurers through this demo application.

9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security
We take reasonable care in how the App is designed. Because data stays on your device, you are responsible for keeping your device secure (screen lock, updates, and avoiding sharing your phone with others).

11. Your Choices
You can:

• Change or clear preferences in the Profile section

• Stop using any feature at any time

• Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
