This SOP outlines the procedures for conducting the screening process using the Autohost system for prospective guests on our platform.
Autohost Screening Process
Step 1: Completion of Autohost Form
When a guest completes the Autohost form, the system generates screening results based on predefined criteria.
Step 2: Review the Autohost Results
The admin team reviews the Autohost results, focusing on the risk color result and top concerns identified by Autohost.
Top concerns include:
The guest location was detected to be within 50 km (30 miles) of the listing.
Last-minute booking for a weekend check-in.
There is a potential discrepancy in the number of guests for the property size.
Last-minute booking for a 2-night stay, especially over the weekend.
Step 3: Assessment of High Risk guest
If Autohost's primary concern is the guest's location within 50 km (30 miles) of the listing, indicating they are local, and the booking is for two nights over a weekend with more than two guests included in the reservation.
Step 4: Requesting Additional Verification
The team will ask additional verification questions to understand the purpose of their stay and assess any potential risks.
Request the valid ID of the other guest.
Booking History: Assess guest's rating
Communication: Review the tone and content of guest communication for any red flags.
Step 5: Agreement Message
If the admin team decides to proceed with accommodating the guest despite red flags, they send an agreement message outlining any additional terms or requirements.
Ex. draft:
A gentle reminder that we strictly enforce both our house rules and the building regulations. Parties are not allowed, unregistered guests are not permitted, noise levels must be maintained low at all times, and smoking is prohibited. Any breach of these rules will incur a $500 charge, and there may be a forced eviction without a refund for the remaining nights.
Please confirm that you won't violate any of these house rules.
It is essential for the guest to agree to the terms outlined in the agreement message before finalizing the booking.
After completing the screening process, kindly categorize the outcome as either low-risk or high-risk. In the case of a reservation classified as high-risk, please add the guest's name to the Autohost (GC) list. This will prompt the graveyard shift to monitor them using Blink cameras and the Noiseaware app.
