I found the solution!! windows settings - devices - pen & windows ink - check 'ignore touch input when i'm using my pen'. This lets you rotate and select things in sketchbook, but won't draw anything. I used to get a lot of little dots from my palm, no more of that! Running on cintiq 22hd touch monitor.

So I've recently downloaded the SketchBook app for windows and I had it about four times when SketchBook would just go into fullscreen mode (without me doing something particular i think) and I couldn't exit out of it. The only solution I could find was exiting SketchBook completely and then signing in again. However, this is a very annoying solution so I wanted to ask if there's another way?

hi same issue. you can only exit and relaunch the app - which is frustrating (and can't undo). Yes, you can also minimize/maximize. I just got a surface pro 6 four days ago and this has happens more and more using sketchbook. Please help

It was my main drawing app, but my PC recently bricked itself and now I can't get it for free again :(On the website, it says to download it through the windows play store but its 20$ there... i know it has been purchased but i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas?

I work at a summer camp teaching digital art and I started using autodesk for it for the main reason that it's free and easy to use. But now it's 20$ again. We figured out to get it on one of our other computers we downloaded the installer from the computers we already had it on for the computers that didn't. It worked and it was free. But I feel like that's illegal now right? I was thinking about sending the installer to the kids parents to have at home for free but I'm not sure if I'd get in legal trouble for that. Do any of you know?

It's an amazing feature and such a shame it's not available on the more robust platform like windows 10. I'd be willing to pay some money just to have it added to the tool list. Love the application in any case; great work.

I have the same issue with my surface pro 6! The app has been running just fine then when I used it today it kept crashing out of nowhere

I also ran my latest windows updates today when this started happening so maybe it has something to do with that??? Or I also tried downloading autodesk desktop (because they dont have the crop function in the win 10 ver) and then the crashes started happening... Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still keeps crashing..

Over a year after the original post and I am having this exact same problem! Working from home, sketchbook was an easy way to do markups... But with it crashing after every few minutes, its more of a waste of time instead! Please fix this Autodesk!!!

Thanks, I did download that version and it has been working so far, but it really doesn't integrate as nicely into the tablet mode of my laptop as the windows application did... So I'm hoping they still fix the problem to the windows 10 version as well! But thank you for the solution in the meantime

While uninstalling an app can sometimes fix issues, it often does more harm than good. If you're having trouble with Sketchbook, please we are begging you reach out to us at support@sketchbook.com before uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Hi Yesterday I started having the exact same problem. Windows updated a few days ago and I just noticed the pen pressure isn't working in any of my softwares. I does work when i test it in the same driver window but not any other software so I might believe is the windows update.

The thing is a believe my tablet isn't working with windows itself, I can still use it as a mouse, but no pressure sensitivity, I also had activated the option to use the pen to click and drag (as a mouse scroll) but now it isn't working either.

I was wondering if there is a autodesk sketchbook pro like Glow-Brush or glow brush/glow effect available for Affinity Designer? I would love to not have to jump between apps, for at least this reason.

I need sketchbook pro like glow brushes in Affinity Designer, because the "outer glow" option under the "Effects" tab in Affinity Designer doesn't create the same type of reflective glow off of skin, that an artist can get in sketchbook pro with the glow-brush & glow effect tab. ff782bc1db
