This Chrome extension, YouTube Auto Hover, respects your privacy and is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, use, or share any user data.
This extension does not collect or store any personal information, browsing history, user credentials, or any other form of identifiable or non-identifiable user data.
The extension runs entirely within your browser. It does not send any data to external servers or third-party services. All functionality is local and used solely to:
Detect hover actions on YouTube thumbnails
Optionally store user preferences (e.g., autoplay delay or mute status) using Chrome's local storage API
This extension does not share any data with any third parties.
The extension requests the following permissions only to enable its core functionality:
tabs and activeTab: To determine when the user is on YouTube and activate playback logic
scripting: To inject hover and playback behavior
storage: To store user settings locally on the device
host_permissions for *://*.youtube.com/*: To restrict functionality to YouTube pages only
These permissions are not used for tracking or data collection.
Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page. Users will not be directly notified of changes unless required by Chrome Web Store policies.
