Auto Fill is designed as a privacy-focused, offline job-application autofill tool. The Extension is designed to process your information locally on your device and does not require an account, server, or cloud service.

1. Information We Handle

Auto Fill may allow you to enter and store information such as:

• Address, city, country, and time zone

2. Local Storage

Information you enter into Auto Fill is stored locally on your device using browser extension storage.

We do not operate a central database containing your profile or job application information.

Your saved information remains under your control through the Extension's profile, settings, and data-management features.

3. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Auto Fill is not designed to transmit your personal information to the Developer, advertisers, data brokers, recruitment companies, or other third parties.

The Developer does not receive a copy of your stored profile or saved application information.

4. No Analytics or Tracking

Auto Fill does not intentionally use:

• Advertising trackers

• Behavioral tracking

• Analytics services

• Marketing trackers

• Telemetry services

• User profiling services

• Third-party advertising networks

The Extension does not track your browsing history for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Offline Operation

Auto Fill is designed to operate locally and offline.

The core functionality does not require:

• An online account

• A Developer-operated server

• A cloud database

• An external API

• A cloud AI service

• An external analytics service

Form detection and autofill functionality are performed locally by the Extension.

If a future version introduces an optional external service, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that functionality is introduced, and the Extension will clearly explain what information is sent and why.

6. AI-Generated Information

Auto Fill may allow users to store or reuse answers that were previously generated with the assistance of AI.

The Extension itself does not need to send your personal information to an AI provider to perform its offline autofill functionality.

If you manually enter or import an AI-generated answer into your local profile, that information is treated in the same way as other information you choose to store in the Extension.

7. Job Application Websites

When you use Auto Fill on a job application website, the Extension may read relevant form fields and page information necessary to determine what information should be filled.

For example, it may process labels such as:

• “First Name”

• “Email”

• “Phone Number”

• “Years of Experience”

• “Are you authorized to work?”

• “Do you require sponsorship?”

• “Remote or on-site?”

This processing is performed to provide the autofill functionality.

Auto Fill does not automatically submit job applications.

You remain responsible for reviewing the information and submitting an application yourself.

8. Sensitive Information

Job applications may contain sensitive or optional questions, including questions relating to demographic information, disability status, veteran status, nationality, work authorization, or similar subjects.

Auto Fill provides controls intended to allow you to decide whether such information may be used for autofill.

You should only save information that you are comfortable storing in your browser.

Auto Fill does not intentionally infer sensitive personal information that you have not provided.

When the Extension cannot confidently determine an answer, it should avoid guessing and allow you to review the field.

9. Resumes and Documents

If you choose to configure a resume, CV, cover letter, certificate, or other document for autofill, the Extension may access the file when necessary to perform the requested action.

Documents are not uploaded to a Developer-operated server by Auto Fill.

You remain responsible for the documents you choose to provide to individual job application websites.

10. Data Security

Because Auto Fill is designed to store information locally, the security of your device and browser is important.

We recommend:

• Using a secure device

• Keeping Firefox updated

• Using a strong operating-system account password

• Locking your device when unattended

• Avoiding storing information you do not need

• Reviewing your profile and saved information periodically

No software can guarantee absolute security. The Developer cannot guarantee that a user's device, browser, or operating system will never be compromised.

11. Data Deletion

You can delete information stored by Auto Fill through the Extension's available profile, settings, reset, or data-management controls.

Removing the Extension may also remove its locally stored extension data depending on Firefox's behavior and your browser configuration.

Information that you have already submitted directly to a job application website is controlled by that website and is not information that Auto Fill can delete.

12. Third-Party Websites

Auto Fill may be used on third-party websites, including employer career pages, recruitment platforms, and applicant-tracking systems.

Those websites have their own privacy policies and data practices.

This Privacy Policy applies only to Auto Fill and does not govern how third-party websites process information after you submit an application.

You should review the privacy policy of a job application website before providing personal information to it.

13. Permissions

Auto Fill requests browser permissions only when they are necessary for its functionality.

Permissions may allow the Extension to:

• Detect relevant job application forms

• Read appropriate form fields

• Fill information into forms

• Access extension storage

• Interact with pages where you choose to use the Extension

These permissions are used to provide the Extension's functionality and are not intended for advertising, tracking, or unrelated data collection.
