Install OpenWrt on Raspberry Pi

Disclaimer: We are by no means a OpenWRT experts, We've only used the platform for a short while, so anything you see here may and will be questioned by some of the experienced OpenWRT users,

but We are happy to learn what we don't know.

Step 1 - Download the latest OpenWrt Firmware

Go to OpenWrt website and download the latest firmware version for your Raspberry Pi.

Step 2 - Flash OpenWrt to an SD-card

Once downloaded, open Raspberry Pi Imager or balenaEtcher and flash the image to an SD-card.

I don’t think this step needs any more explanation.

Step 3 - OpenWrt Initial Configuration

Now insert the SD-card into our Raspberry Pi, and let’s start configuring the OpenWrt.
