Autism Society of North Louisiana

The Autism Society of North Louisiana (ASNLA) aims to support and increase the quality of life for all individuals impacted by Autism across the lifespan.

We started as a small group of parents and providers discussing ways our community could improve supports and acceptance of all who are impacted by Autism. It quickly grew into what would become the Autism Society of North Louisiana. We are made up of concerned and passionate individuals with Autism, parents, providers and community members that want positive change for our community that will benefit individuals with ASD and their families. We would love for YOU to be a part of that with us! Currently, most of the events will be taking place in Northeast Louisiana, but we are providing resource mapping throughout North Louisiana. We are working to be able to provide events all throughout North La.

Our goals are:

• Educational activities for parents, educators, and community members.
• Social events to help individuals with Autism and their families make connections with other individuals and families impacted by Autism, as well as improve connections between those impacted by Autism and their community.
• Support in transitions (birth-3 to school age; within school-age; from school to employment or higher education, etc.)
• Government relations to advocate for policies that promote improved supports and quality of life for those impacted by Autism.
• Resource mapping to ensure families know the supports and services available in the community.
