Sasha is a member of the Thcta, a tribe of underground supernatural creatures. She is chosen for a very special mission, no other female has been offered this chance. She is to infiltrate a group of hunters and learn their secrets and weaknesses. Easy enough until she meets them and realizes they are not the monsters she thought them to be. 

      When she meets Lucas, Zach, and Jonah, she realized she might have been wrong in her judgment. She has a year to complete her assignment, a year of living with them, hunting with them, and creating strong bonds of friendship.
