I was born in Waukegan, Illinois, raised in Zion, and eventually moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where I spent most of my life. In 1995 my family settled there, and after many years of freezing winters (and way too many snow shovels), I finally escaped to Tennessee for the better weather — and haven’t looked back since.

I’ve always been an arts-driven person. Acting, drawing, writing, music — creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I play guitar, sketch characters, build worlds, and still somehow find time to dominate in video games. I’m also played sports.

I guess you could say I’m a little bit of everything — a creator, a storyteller, a husband, and a father to two amazing boys. And even though I’m a pretty conservative guy, people are always surprised by how artistic I am. (It keeps things interesting.)

Writing has become one of my favorite ways to connect with people and share the worlds in my head. I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy creating them.
