Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Agreement and license

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Rapid Dijital Hizmetler Limited Şirketi ("Rapid Mobile", "we", "us") for the Authenticator app, its AutoFill extension and widgets (together, "the App"). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. The App is licensed, not sold.

The App generates time-based (TOTP) and counter-based (HOTP) verification codes for two-step verification, and includes secure notes, recovery code storage, a password generator, a QR code generator and scanner, account import and transfer, encrypted iCloud and file backups, AutoFill, widgets, Live Activities and Siri Shortcuts. Features may change over time.

2. Authenticator Plus subscriptions

The App is free to download and includes one free account so you can try it. Authenticator Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly and monthly, that unlocks unlimited accounts, iCloud backup, file backup and export, bulk import, widgets, Live Activities and AutoFill.

Price. The price and billing period are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country. Prices may change; you will be told before a change applies to you.

Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.

Cancel or manage. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Restore purchases. You can restore an active subscription on another device signed in with the same Apple Account using Restore Purchases in the App.

If Plus ends. Your accounts are not deleted and their codes keep working. Plus features (adding accounts beyond the free limit, backups, import, widgets, AutoFill) stop until you subscribe again.

3. Your responsibilities

The App stores your setup keys and data on your device. We have no copy of them and cannot recover them for you. You are responsible for:

Keeping a way back into your accounts. Save the recovery codes each service gives you when you turn on two-step verification, and keep a backup (iCloud backup, an encrypted file backup or an encrypted iOS device backup). If you lose your device, erase the App, forget your App passcode or backup password, or lose your backups, you may lose access to your codes.

Protecting your device. Use an iPhone passcode, and turn on the App lock if others can use your device. Anyone who can unlock the App can see your codes.

Checking what you add. Verify each account after adding or importing it, and add websites for AutoFill only if they are the real sites of that service. A wrong website may suggest a code on the wrong site.

Keeping the correct time. Time-based codes depend on your device clock; keep automatic date and time turned on.

The App is a tool to help you sign in. It does not replace the security practices of the services you use.

4. Restrictions, third-party services and intellectual property

You agree not to:

copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the App;

reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the App's source code, except where the law allows it;

remove or bypass security, licensing or subscription features;

use the App to access accounts that you are not authorized to access, or for any unlawful purpose.

The App works with Apple services (App Store, iCloud, StoreKit, AutoFill) and uses Google Firebase Analytics and RevenueCat as described in the Privacy Policy. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms. Service names and logos shown in the App belong to their owners and are shown only to help you recognize your accounts; this does not mean they endorse the App.

The App, its design, code and content are owned by Rapid Mobile or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Open-source components are used under their licenses, listed in the App under Help & Support › Licenses.

5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that codes will be accepted by every service, or that backups will always be available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rapid Mobile will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of access to third-party accounts, lost profits or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

Some countries do not allow certain exclusions or limits. In that case they apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

6. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree that:

1. These Terms are between you and Rapid Mobile only, not Apple. Rapid Mobile, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.

2. Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.

3. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

4. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.

5. Rapid Mobile, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.

6. If a third party claims that the App infringes its intellectual property rights, Rapid Mobile, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.

7. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

8. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.

9. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Where these Terms do not cover something, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

7. Termination, governing law, changes and contact

Termination. These Terms apply until ended by you or us. You can end them at any time by deleting the App. Your license ends automatically if you break these Terms. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription; cancel it as described in section 2.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes. We may update these Terms when the App or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
