The aims are to create a platform for academics and graduate students from around the world to engage in coordination of events, exchange of ideas, and dissemination of knowledge. This is achieved by yearly or biannual workshops, the size and length of which depends on submissions and funding. The workshops will be located at different institutions across Australasia, and at large Oceania (which includes the State of Hawaii). The platform also aims to attract international visitors to the Australasian (Oceania) region.
