Beginner Lessons:

$250

Austin Foil Alliance’s First Time Flyer Program is a comprehensive introduction to hydrofoiling. Whether your interest is in sit or surf foiling, we begin with an introduction that covers more than just riding. Included in the lesson are:

· 50 minutes of behind the boat instruction

· Basic background of hydrofoiling and hydrofoil equipment

· Foil safety, handling, and storage pointers

· Tips for your boat driver

· Your choice of AFA hat or T-Shirt

Beginner lessons are done in groups up to four riders. Riders may bring a non-riding guest at no extra cost if pre-arranged. We suggest bringing your usual boat driver / photographer to capture the excitement and pick up a few tips while on board.

Charter Lessons:

$200 hr / 3 hr minimum

Charter lessons also include all gear, boat, captain, and instruction. They may also be done on your boat by arrangement. Riders are also welcome to use their own gear. You may have up to 10 people (riders and passengers) on board and divide the time as desired. All levels / abilities are welcome. You may also mix time between sit and surf foiling or traditional wake surfing. We can support multiple pick up and drop off times but encourage minimizing this to get the most out of your time.

Pick Up Lessons:

$50 / 30 min

On occasions such as weekdays or tighter time schedules AFA will do pick up lessons at a rate of $50 per half hour NOT including gear. Gear may be used for an additional $20. Riders should be able to remain up on a foil at a minimum for pick up lessons. To get notifications on pick-ups, request to be added to the email list at info@atxfoil.com
