AUSS National Convention

We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 National American Union of Swedish Singers (AUSS) Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 24–27, 2026 (check out on June 28th) . Plans are being made to give you a fantastic experience.

The Convention Hotel

We have contracted a fine hotel; The Doubletree by Hilton Minneapolis Airport. It is reasonably priced at an AUSS group rate. It is also close to the Airport, Ikea and the Mall of America. The hotel has a free shuttle that goes to the Airport, which will be very convenient. It has a restaurant and there is also plenty of space for rehearsals and activities.

Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday afternoon (June24) with the Grand Concert being on Friday night (June26).  So, it would be ideal if you could get here by Wednesday morning. We will also be having our banquet on Saturday. We are hoping you can stay and check out of the hotel on Sunday (6/28/26).

The Grand Concert

The Grand Concert is on Friday night, June 26th at Benson Great Hall on the campus of Bethel University, which was founded in 1871 by Swedish immigrant John Alexis Edgren. Benson Great Hall is the perfect venue for our concert. They have agreed to promote our concert, which could help increase the size of our audience.

Special Guests

I am pleased to announce that Niklas Rygert, Tenor with the Stockholm Opera (and son of Göran Rygert) will again join us. Also, I recently spoke to composer/conductor Lennart Johansson in Luleå Sweden, and he is preparing the Luleå-Gammelstad Male Chorus with plans to come to Minneapolis for the convention.

Sunday, June 28th - 

Check out of Hotel / Return Home - Farewell

Convention Registration - 

There will be an online registration site opening on January 15th. I will email out the link.

Registration Cost - 

After thorough consideration, we have determined the registration fees to be -

1. Convention Singer - $200

2. Non - Singing spouse / partner or convention participant - $150

The final batch of convention music will go out soon.
