Each year we hold multiple AuSIS events for our participating schools and their communities during National Science Week.

In 2025, AuSIS held it's first EarthFest short movie competition. Students were asked to create a short film that includes:

• Their school.

• Their science teacher.

• Their school’s AuSIS seismometer.

The film could be documentary, fictional, humorous, dramatic - or anything in between. All the films were shown at the AuScope Research Conference 2025 and the attendees voted for a “crowd favourite”. You can watch all the films below, which are listed alphabetically according to school name.
