About

The Forum was created to bring people together to engage with the topic of Englishes in Australia (including contact varieties). Its aim is to be an inclusive space to share ideas and ongoing research for researchers of different disciplines, sub-disciplines and theoretical perspectives, to support early-stage research students, and to create a space for interactions and larger conversations around the object of study. It is intended to become a regular, free or low cost event that has an outreach element to engage teachers, particularly those that teach VCE English Language. We hope that it will evolve as we learn more about what this community needs.
