1. SUMMARY
Aurora Flow does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app requests no Android permissions and has no internet access. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app saves the following locally, in its own private app storage, using Android DataStore:
- Your preferences: focus block length, short and long break lengths, daily goal, theme choice, wallpaper colour setting, keep-screen-on setting, and vibration setting.
- Your session history: for each day you use the app, the date, the total minutes of completed focus blocks, and the number of blocks completed.
This information is never transmitted off the device. It is not linked to you, to an account, or to any identifier. The developer cannot see it.
3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
Aurora Flow does not collect or process:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact details
- Location data
- Photos, files, contacts, calendar, microphone, or camera data
- Device identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data
- Any user-generated content
4. PERMISSIONS
The app declares no Android permissions of any kind, including the INTERNET permission. Because the INTERNET permission is not declared, the app is technically unable to send data to any server.
5. THIRD PARTIES
Aurora Flow contains no third-party software development kits. There is no advertising network, no analytics provider, no crash reporting service, and no social media integration. No data is shared with third parties, because no data leaves your device.
6. ADS AND PURCHASES
The app contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
7. BACKUPS
If you have enabled Android's system backup on your device, your Aurora Flow settings and session history may be included in your own Google account backup, in the same way as data from other apps. That backup is handled by Google and controlled by your device settings, not by the developer, and is covered by Google's privacy policy. You can turn system backup off in your device settings.
8. DELETING YOUR DATA
You can erase your session history at any time from Settings, under "Your data". Clearing the app's storage from Android's app settings removes all preferences and history. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it has stored.
9. CHILDREN
Aurora Flow collects no data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, no purchases, no accounts, and no user-generated content.
10. SECURITY
Because the app stores data only in Android's private per-app storage and never transmits it, your information is protected by the operating system's own sandboxing. No data is held on any server operated by the developer.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date. If a future version of the app ever collects data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
