If so, please follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Log into your GAPPS account
2. Complete the AHS Course Change Request form.
The form opens at 8:00am on Tuesday, September 2, and closes at 3:00pm on Monday, September 8.
students are permitted to submit ONE Google form only; there is a section to add additional comments.
changes will only be processed if your request meets one of the following criteria(and if space permits):
compulsory course pathway change (i.e. change in course type - academic/applied/locally developed/college/mixed/university/workplace)
missing compulsory course
failure of the prerequisite course
missing graduation requirement/post-secondary admission requirement course
there will be NO course changes based on preference.
3. Continue to follow your current timetable until you have met with a Guidance counsellor. Please realize that course change requests are not guaranteed and will be dependent on space and program availability.
We have posted our Courses by Period chart online. This document indicates which classes are scheduled in each period. If you are making a change request, the chart will provide you with potential course change options.
* Please note the chart only indicates which courses are running in each period; it does NOT indicate which courses are full, as availability changes with each timetable change request we process.
Guidance Counsellors will begin processing your requests, by grade, in order of submission, on Wednesday, September 3. We hope to have all course change requests (and classes settled) by Friday, September 12, 2025.
