6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
We process information when necessary to provide the Service you request, including account access, calling, transcription, translation, meeting notes, AI features, subscriptions, and credits.
We rely on consent where required, particularly before sending voice, audio, transcripts, translations, prompts, or related personal data to third-party AI, speech-processing, or real-time communication providers.
You may decline this consent. If you decline, the affected AI, translation, transcription, or communication feature will not start.
Where permitted by law, we may process limited personal data for legitimate interests such as:
maintaining security;
preventing fraud and abuse;
diagnosing technical problems;
performing basic product analytics;
maintaining service reliability; and
improving the App.
We consider the impact of this processing on users’ privacy rights.
We may process information when necessary to comply with laws, regulations, court orders, or other valid legal requirements.
7. AI Processing, Operational Processing, and User Consent
Auro Talk uses affiliated and third-party service providers to perform real-time communication, speech recognition, transcription, translation, text-to-speech, meeting-note generation, summarization, mind-map generation, and Ask Auro processing.
Before Auro Talk transmits voice, audio, video, uploaded meeting files, transcripts, translations, meeting content, Ask Auro prompts, or other AI feature content to an AI, speech-processing, or real-time communication provider, the App presents an in-app disclosure explaining:
the categories of content that may be transmitted;
the purpose of the processing;
the service providers that may receive the content; and
the feature that requires the processing.
The App then asks for your explicit permission, such as through an “Agree and Continue” action.
If you decline, Auro Talk will not transmit the applicable voice, meeting, transcript, translation, prompt, or other AI feature content, and the affected AI-powered feature will not start.
This AI consent applies specifically to the transmission and processing of content used for AI, speech, transcription, translation, and supported real-time communication features.
Certain operational data is processed separately and does not depend on the same AI consent prompt. When you launch, sign in to, purchase through, or otherwise use Auro Talk, we and our service providers may process limited account, authentication, device identifier, analytics, crash diagnostic, subscription entitlement, transaction-status, security, and basic service-operation data as described in Sections 3 through 6 and Section 8 of this Privacy Policy.
For example, this operational processing may involve:
Supabase for account authentication and session management;
Altair for device or service authentication and secure API access;
Firebase Analytics for product analytics;
Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics;
Firebase Performance Monitoring for performance information; and
RevenueCat for purchase and subscription entitlement management.
Operational data is not treated as consented AI content merely because the AI consent prompt is displayed or accepted. We process operational data only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and under the applicable legal basis identified in Section 6.
You may withdraw your AI content-processing consent through:
Profile → AI Data Consent
Withdrawal stops future transmission and processing of AI feature content based on that consent. It does not necessarily stop processing that is required for account authentication, security, purchase verification, crash diagnosis, legal compliance, or other basic operation of the Service.
Withdrawal does not automatically delete information that was previously processed to provide a completed feature or information that we are legally required to retain.
You may separately delete available history records or delete your account as described in Sections 14 and 15.
8. Third Parties and Data Sharing
We share personal data only when necessary to operate Auro Talk, provide a feature you request, process purchases, protect the Service, or comply with law.
We require service providers that process personal data on our behalf to protect it through appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards.
MO YOUNG LIMITED operates technical, authentication, and AI-processing infrastructure used by Auro Talk, including services known as Altair.
When the App launches or connects to our services, Altair may process limited operational data needed to authenticate the device or session and establish secure access to Auro Talk services. This operational data may include:
an App-generated or service-generated device identifier;
account or session identifiers;
authentication credentials or tokens;
App version and operating-system information;
timestamps;
network and request information; and
technical security information needed to authenticate and protect access to the Service.
This limited authentication and operational processing may occur before you respond to the separate AI data-consent prompt. It is used for secure service access, session establishment, fraud and abuse prevention, and operation of the App. It does not by itself authorize the transmission of your voice, meeting content, transcripts, translations, or Ask Auro prompts for AI processing.
After you grant the required in-app AI data permission and use the relevant feature, Altair may also process:
voice and audio;
uploaded audio files;
speech transcripts;
translated text;
meeting content;
AI notes and summaries;
action items;
mind-map content;
Ask Auro questions and prompts;
AI-generated answers; and
related feature and session metadata.
This AI feature content is processed to provide:
speech recognition;
transcription;
translation;
text-to-speech;
meeting-note generation;
summaries;
action items;
mind maps; and
Ask Auro functionality.
Auro Talk does not transmit the AI feature content listed above to Altair for these purposes until you grant the applicable in-app AI data permission and use the relevant feature.
We use Agora RTC and related speech or real-time communication services to support:
audio-call transmission;
video-call transmission;
real-time speech transcription; and
call-translation functionality.
Depending on the feature used, Agora may process:
audio streams;
video streams;
real-time transcription and translation data; and
call-session metadata.
This processing begins after you grant the required in-app permission and start a supported call, transcription, or translation feature.
We use Supabase for account authentication and session management.
Supabase may process:
account identifiers;
email addresses when provided;
authentication tokens; and
session information.
When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with:
an Apple identity token;
a unique account identifier; and
limited account information authorized by you and supplied by Apple.
Apple processes information under its own applicable terms and privacy policy.
When you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide us with:
a Google identity token;
a unique account identifier; and

App usage events;
feature-interaction information; and
device and App technical information.
We use this information to understand product performance and improve the App, not for third-party advertising.
We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and technical diagnostics.
Crashlytics may process:
crash reports;
diagnostic logs;
device information;
operating-system information; and
App-version information.
We use Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure and improve App performance.
It may process:
performance measurements;
network-performance information; and
technical device and App data.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchase status, and paid-feature entitlements.
RevenueCat may process:
Auro Talk user identifiers;
product identifiers;
subscription status;
purchase and entitlement status; and
transaction information received from the applicable app store.
RevenueCat does not provide us with your complete payment-card number.
The Apple App Store and Google Play process payments and in-app purchases.
We receive only the transaction, purchase, subscription, or entitlement information needed to:
confirm purchases;
activate paid features;
restore purchases; and
manage subscriptions or credits.
Payment information is handled by the applicable app store under its own terms and privacy policy.
We use Moyoung and Martech backend infrastructure to provide:
account services;
history synchronization;
calling and meeting records;
feature APIs;
content storage and retrieval; and
related operational functions.
Depending on your use of the Service, this infrastructure may process:
account information;
call and meeting metadata;
transcripts;
translations;
AI-generated content; and
other information needed to provide and synchronize the requested features.
We may disclose personal data:
when required by applicable law;
in response to a valid legal process;
to protect the rights, property, or safety of Moyoung, our users, or others;
to investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents; or
in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
Any such disclosure will be made subject to applicable legal requirements.
9. Third-Party Data-Protection Requirements

Audio may be transmitted and processed to provide the feature you request.
Camera access is used only when you enable video calling.
You may use audio-only features without enabling camera access where supported.

We access only the file or content you choose through the applicable system selection interface.
We do not upload your photo library for advertising purposes.
Notification permission may be requested to deliver optional service notifications or reminders.
You may deny or revoke device permissions through your device settings.
If a permission is denied, the related feature may not function or may become unavailable.

Depending on the services used, personal data may be processed outside mainland China by providers such as:
Agora;

13. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, protect the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Account information is retained while your account remains active.
After you delete your account, account data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, generally within 15 business days, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
Call and meeting history, transcripts, translations, AI notes, summaries, action items, mind maps, and related feature content may be retained while they remain associated with your account and are needed to provide history and synchronization features.

Before using supported AI features, you may agree to or decline the transmission and processing of the disclosed data.
If you decline, the affected AI feature will not start.
