To provide features like Auto Ambience and Daily Hidayah, we require specific data and permissions:
A. Location Data (Crucial for Auto Ambience):
We collect precise or approximate location data only to calculate accurate prayer times for your specific area.
This data is required to trigger the "Auto Ambience" feature (changing wallpapers automatically at Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha).
Note: You can use the app without location services, but the Auto Ambience feature will not function correctly.
B. Device and Media Storage:
We require access to your device's storage to allow you to download Wallpapers, Ringtones, and save your custom Name/Ayah Calligraphy creations.
We may access your media library to allow you to upload your own backgrounds for the Calligraphy tool (if this feature exists).
C. Personal Information:
If you sign up for our Waitlist, Newsletter, or Premium Account, we collect your email address and name.
D. System Settings:
We require permission to modify system settings to set Ringtones and Wallpapers directly from the app.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
Core Functionality: To calculate prayer times and automate wallpaper changes.
Personalization: To deliver the "Daily Hidayah" and custom content.
Improvement: To analyze usage trends (e.g., which wallpapers are most popular) to improve our content library.

4. Permissions We Request
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: To calculate prayer times.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: To save/load wallpapers and calligraphy.
WRITE_SETTINGS: To set ringtones and change system wallpapers.
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To download new content from our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
We may share non-personal, aggregated data with trusted third-party services for analytics and infrastructure:
Google Play Services: For app distribution and core APIs.
Firebase/Google Analytics: To understand user behavior and app performance.
Ad Networks : If the app contains ads, third-party vendors may use cookies or mobile IDs to serve ads.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information (email) only as long as necessary to provide the service or until you request deletion.
Location data is processed locally on your device where possible and is not stored permanently on our servers.
