Hi, I’m Shan (they/them/theirs)! I reside in Northeast Ohio with my horse (Pumpkin), two dogs (Abner and Sprout), and cats (Matilda and Tiny). Predominantly, my resumé spouts off hard science and veterinary medicine, but I feel like those things do compliment spirituality and intuition! For the past 8 years, I have worked in biomedical research full time, so if you're looking to work with an intuitive that is science-minded and practical, I might be a good fit! If you're looking for woo-woo fluff and someone who won't be real with you or your animals, I am definitely not the right fit.
I’ve been reading tarot cards regularly since 2013, and have been translating messages from animals and nature for myself and my loved ones for quite a while now. I’ve communicated with animals in the past, but struggled to figure out how to really access that part of myself. After taking a virtual class with my mentor and friend Lilly Ludwig in early 2021, I learned that it just takes some practice and unlocked some new skills to help me really tune in.
As soon as that class started, new signs from the universe began appearing faster than I could keep track of all of them-repeating numbers popped up everywhere, particularly 3s and 1s. During this time I also pulled card 31 from an animal oracle deck, which was the turkey card. Messages from turkey include good luck and possible lottery winnings, so I played 3131 on a pick four and won $800 by trusting my intuition and listening to signs from the Universe which was clearly telling me that this was my path, my calling, and my way to give back to the animals and the humans that love them. I hope to meet you soon, at whatever part of your journey you and your animals are on.

“Aureum” is Latin for “golden”, and my late thoroughbred mare, Dancer, was registered with The Jockey Club as “Thimbleful of Gold”. It felt right to honor one of the most important animals in my life with this name.
