This is a try to adapt the abilities kit of Mercy from Overwatch 2, in a way that would better fit the game, to make the character less controversial.
It come from a self reflexion, that is :
In is actual state, mercy's kit feel a bit old and seems hard to balance for the developement team, and she has a very mixed opinion about her among the players. Some are huge fan of the simplicity of the character, but other see it without big interest outside of sticking with a player all the game. Therefor Overwatch 2 is now a more dynamic game, where new released heroes got the possibilities to get a direct impact on the game, Mercy stay the only character to mostly depend on others player to get an impact.
I tried to modify her kit, to make it fit more inside the context of the game without destroying the heart of the character, to keep the simplicity that some people like while adding more depth in his gameplay
The thinking part of the project have been done all by myself. I also have ask friends that play Overwatch what they were thinking of my suggestion and made a few modification after that.
I am thinking of contacting someone who know how to use properly the Overwatch Workshop, to make visual representation of my concepts, or trying to learn how to use it (I already seen some works done on it but nothing more) as it could also help me to be better in developement.
But for now I dont have that time so all the work is purely theorical.
