My name is Aurélien LE QUEMENER, I was born in 2001 in France and I am a Game Design student, currently in my third year in Brassart Toulouse.
I focus more myself on the gameplay design in global, and on Q.A / playtesting as well. But I got interest in many things and like to be versatile.
I also got enough knowledge to create a game, from the concept to the corrections and balancing, passing by the developement, and that for a video game, board game or any type of game.
It was my first true introduction to video games, and I was, like everyone, scared in my first night in the game, then along the years, I goes more in depth of what you can do in the game or with the game.
I'm not only playing like the game is intended to be played, like in survival with friend or alone, but i also like to create games inside of the game. I often play with friend, where we all create our own mini map adventure and we trade them and play each other map.
I will probably go with 2D action/plateform games, like metroid-vania games. When the feelling of the character you control is good enough to let you get driven through the game without even seeing the time flew, it is so wonderfull.
I am mostly a gameplay driven person, so when the game flow let you transcend your capacities to achieve complex passage of the game or even just progress with full pleasure of playing, I can do it for hours.
It's in the same vibe of satisfying gameplay, but I also love First Person Plateforms games, like for exemple ClusterTruck.
I would say that any game where there is too much story to follow, where I have to see 2 hours of cinematics to understand the game. I rather have a good gameplay than a good story in a game.
Not to say that I dont like knowing the story of a game, but i need to like the gameplay before getting intersted in the deep lore of the game. If I want to start following a complex story, I will go read a book or watch a movie.
Or I need to be active in the story progression to handle a strong presence of story, for exemple I will like a good and fun point&click (like those made by Lucas Art's).
