Beard Contest

The Aurelia American Legion Post #390 is the sponsoring organization for the Beard Contest for the Aurelia Sesquicentennial (150 Years Young) Celebration this summer June 16,17, and 18.

Judging is tentatively scheduled to take place on Friday evening June 16.

There will be 4 Categories to be judged:

1. Mustache

2. Goatee

3. Full Beard (Bushy)

4. Trimmed Beard

Prizes will be awarded to winners of each category.

The contest is open to all current and former Aurelia  residents and Aurelia Alumni.

Recommendation is to wait till Feb 1st of this year to start your growth, but if you have already started or have an established growth; you will still be eligible for the contest. Join in the fun! Questions call Rod Hasenwinkel 712-229-5926
