CAPSU TAPAZ SATELLITE COLLEGE
Undergoing the SEA Teacher Batch 11 program in the Philippines initially felt like a huge challenge, filled with unknowns. However, all my doubts vanished the moment I set foot at Capiz State University (CAPSU) Tapaz Satellite College. This serene campus nestled amidst the hills not only provides excellent learning facilities but also the warmth of a family. Here, I found a true "second home" a place where language and cultural differences become bridges to mutual understanding.
My transformative journey at CAPSU Tapaz is inseparable from the extraordinary individuals who guided me with such sincerity. I would like to pay special tribute to my extraordinary mentor, Ma'am Diña B Palomar. She was more than just an foster parent, she was my compass when I felt lost in developing learning strategies. From her, I learned that being a people in another country, she also thaught me about etiquette and life in tapaz.
Furthermore, my days at Tapaz felt much more colorful and easier thanks to the presence of my best buddy, Edcel Mae Alberto. You were the first person to make me feel less alone in a foreign land. From helping me understand the local dialect, to accompanying me on culinary explorations around Tapaz, to being a fun conversation partner during my busy campus life. Your presence proved that true friendship knows no nationality.
In the corridors of CAPSU Tapaz, in the laughter-filled discussion rooms, and in every warm greeting from the staff and other students, I discovered a new piece of myself. This campus has taught me that home isn't about geographical coordinates, but about where we feel accepted, appreciated, and loved. Thank you, CAPSU Tapaz, for welcoming me with open arms and making me part of your extended family.
