Aurela Health Illumination Foundation, a non-profit organization, has been impacting lives since its inception in 2016. Initially, it operated informally, providing vital services to vulnerable communities. However, the organization was officially established on May 21, 2024.
The foundation was created by a group of dedicated philanthropists, including Success Michael James, Paul Mark Akwa, Elvis Aniefiok Enoch, Amuta Sunday Amuta, Okenwa Goodrich, Ms. Victoria Etim, and other committed individuals. These founders come from diverse backgrounds such as medicine, journalism, law, spiritual leadership, and social entrepreneurship.
Aurela Health Illumination Foundation was born in response to the critical health and social issues plaguing the nation, including rising cases of nutritional deficiencies, strokes, heart diseases, and mental health crises caused by national hardship and tragic events. In addition, many citizens faced poor access to quality healthcare, growing national disunity, and a declining sense of patriotism.
Driven by a collective desire to address these challenges, the founders saw an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Nigerians. The organization is dedicated to providing access to quality healthcare, addressing public health concerns, supporting community development initiatives, promoting health education, and fostering national unity. A central part of its mission is to revive the true spirit of patriotism and civic enlightenment among citizens.
