PRIVACY POLICY - WEARBOARD

This Privacy Policy explains how Wearboard collects, uses and protects your
personal information when you use our mobile app.
If you have questions or you do not agree with our practices, please do not use
the app. For anything at all, contact us at appauraid@gmail.com.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us:
- Your email address (from Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google). If you
use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address Apple gives us
- Your onboarding answers: age range, how often you renew your wardrobe, how
long you spend deciding what to wear, the occasions you dress for, your
country, and how you heard about us
- Photos of your clothes, which you take or choose from your photo library
- Photos you scan when you ask the app to find similar items online
- What you do with your wardrobe: which garments you wear on which days, the
prices you enter, the outfits and collages you build, and your trips
Location:
- Approximate location, and only if you allow it. It is used for one thing: to
look up today's weather so outfit suggestions match the temperature. The
coordinates are rounded before they leave your phone (roughly city-block
precision), they are sent only to our weather provider, and they are never
stored on our servers. If you deny the permission, the app works exactly the
same, without the weather
Payment data:
- Payments are processed by Apple, and your subscription status is handled by a
subscription management provider. We never see or store your card details,
your name or your billing address
How you use the app:
- We record which screens you open, which features you use and when, whether you
complete the sign-up steps, and whether you subscribe. Each of these records
carries your account identifier, your app version, your device model and its
operating system, your language, and the approximate city our analytics
provider derives from your internet connection
- We do this to understand where people get stuck and to improve the app. It is
processed by an analytics provider whose servers are in the European Union
- We never send it your photos, your wardrobe, your outfits, the prices you
enter or your onboarding answers
Device identifier:
- A random number generated on your phone and stored in its secure keychain. It
is used for one purpose only: to make sure the same device cannot redeem a
referral code more than once. It is not your device's serial number, it is
not shared with anyone, and it cannot be used to identify you
WE DO NOT COLLECT:
- Sensitive information (health, race, religion, sexual orientation, biometric
data)
- Precise GPS location
- Your contacts, your browsing history or your search history
- Advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising libraries, shows no
adverts, and never asks for permission to track you across other companies'
apps or websites, because it does not do it
- We do not sell or rent your personal information
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To create and manage your account
- To analyse photos of your clothes with artificial intelligence, which
identifies each garment, its colour, its fabric, the season and the occasions
it suits
- To suggest outfits made from clothes you already own
- To find visually similar products online when you use the search feature
- To save your wardrobe, your outfits and your history so they are still there
on your next device
- To calculate your cost per wear and your wardrobe statistics
- To send you the daily outfit reminder, if you turn it on
- To prevent fraud and abuse of our usage limits
- To reply to your questions and give you support
When you add a garment or use the search feature, you agree that the photo is
processed by our AI and image search providers to give you those results.
WE DO NOT use your photos to train AI models, and we do not use them for
advertising.
WE DO NOT make automated decisions that significantly affect you.
3. CAMERA, PHOTO LIBRARY AND LOCATION ACCESS
Wearboard asks for three permissions, and each one is optional:
- Camera: to photograph your clothes
- Photo library: to choose photos you already have
- Location: only to fetch today's weather
You can change any of these at any time in your device settings. Denying them
limits the related feature, not the app.
4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
WE DO NOT sell or share your data for marketing.
We share only what each provider needs to make a feature work:
- A cloud hosting provider, with servers in the United States, which stores your
account, your wardrobe and your photos
- An artificial intelligence provider, which receives photos of your clothes to
identify each garment
- Image search providers, which receive the photos you scan in order to find
visually similar products
- A weather provider, which receives rounded coordinates and returns the
forecast
- A subscription management provider, which receives your user identifier and
your subscription status
- A product analytics provider, with servers in the European Union, which
receives your user identifier and the record of what you do inside the app
- Apple, which processes your payment
- Apple and Google, when you choose to sign in with them
All of these providers process the data on our behalf, under contract, and only
for the purpose described. None of them receives your data to sell it or to
advertise to you.

5. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING YOUR INFORMATION
- Performance of a contract: to give you the service you subscribed to
- Consent: for the camera, the photo library, the location and notifications,
each of which you grant separately and can withdraw at any time
- Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud and abuse of our usage limits
- Legal obligations: when the law requires us to process certain information
6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Our main servers are located in the United States, so your information may be
transferred to and stored in a country different from your own.
Our analytics data is the exception: it is stored in the European Union and does
not leave it.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these
transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on
the safeguards our providers have in place.
7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep your personal information for as long as you have an active account.
When you delete your account, everything is deleted immediately from our live
systems: your profile, every photo (wardrobe, outfits and scans), your wear
history, your outfits, your trips and your referral records. There is no
recovery period.
Our hosting provider keeps encrypted infrastructure backups for a short period
(up to 7 days) before they are overwritten. Those backups exist to recover from
a technical disaster and are never used to restore a deleted account.
Anything stored only on your phone, such as your collages and your preferences,
disappears when you delete your account or the app, and cannot be recovered.
8. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
Your photos are stored in your own private folder, encrypted at rest, and can
only be opened through links that expire. No other user of the app can see them,
and our servers are built so that one account can never read another account's
data.
No system of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so please use the
app from networks you trust.
9. CHILDREN
Wearboard is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we find that
we have, we will disable the account and delete the data immediately.

10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live (EU, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, certain
US states), you have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Object to or restrict the processing of your information
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Not be subject to automated decision-making
How to exercise your rights:
You can see and update your information directly in the app, under Settings.
To delete your account and all of your data, go to Settings and tap "Delete
account" (see section 13).
You can also contact us at appauraid@gmail.com. We will verify your identity
before acting on your request, and we will answer within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union, you also have the right to complain to your
national data protection authority.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context
behavioural advertising.
11. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Wearboard is a mobile app and does not use cookies.
We store a small amount of information on your device to keep you signed in, to
remember your preferences (language, units, reminder time) and to prevent a
referral code from being redeemed twice on the same device.
We do use product analytics: a record of which screens you open and which
features you use, stored in the European Union, so that we can see where the app
is confusing and fix it.
That is a different thing from what Apple calls tracking, and the difference
matters: we never combine your data with data from other companies, we never
share it for advertising, and we never sell it to data brokers. We do not use
advertising identifiers, and the app never asks for permission to track you
across other apps or websites, because it does not do it.
12. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of
significant changes through a notice in the app or by email.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this document shows when it was last
revised.
13. HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND DATA
You can delete your account and all of your data at any time from inside the
app:
1. Open Wearboard
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap "Delete account"
4. Confirm
This permanently deletes:
- Your user account
- All of your clothing photos, outfit photos and scan photos
- Your entire wear history and your statistics
- Your outfits, collages and trips
- Your onboarding answers
- Your referral code and records
- Every other piece of personal information associated with you
This action is IRREVERSIBLE. Once confirmed, your account and your data cannot
be recovered.
If you only want to stop using the app for a while, you can sign out instead of
deleting your account.
