2.1. All members must comply with ethical standards in research, including but not limited to plagiarism, falsification of data, and proper attribution of sources.
2.2. Members must follow the institutional and governmental regulations regarding research and experimentation.
2.3. Confidentiality must be maintained for all unpublished work, discussions, and group findings.
3. Responsibilities
3.1. Members must attend group meetings, provide progress updates, and participate in discussions.
3.2. Members are required to submit research deliverables (e.g., drafts, reports, or experiments) by agreed deadlines.
3.3. Collaborative work must be respected, and contributions of all team members should be acknowledged appropriately.
4. Intellectual Property (IP)
4.1. All data, publications, and innovations developed under the research group are the intellectual property of the group or institution, unless otherwise specified.
4.2. Members must not use group resources for personal projects without prior approval from the group leader.
5. Funding and Resource Use
5.1. Members are responsible for using funding and lab resources efficiently and solely for approved research purposes.

6. Publication and Authorship
6.1. Authorship for publications will be determined based on significant contributions to the work, following established guidelines (e.g., ICMJE).

7.1. Members are encouraged to seek guidance from mentors and senior researchers within the group.

8. Termination and Withdrawal
8.1. Members may withdraw from the group with prior written notice and after fulfilling their ongoing commitments.
8.2. Membership may be terminated for breaches of these terms, failure to meet performance standards or unethical conduct.
9. Health and Safety
9.1. Members must adhere to all lab safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions to the group leader immediately.
9.2. Training on safety measures will be provided, and members are required to complete it before engaging in lab work.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. Any disputes arising within the group should be resolved amicably through discussion with the group leader or an assigned mediator.
10.2. If disputes persist, they will be escalated to the institutional authorities following the relevant policies.
