1. INTRODUCTION
AURA DARK: HUD & Sensi ("AURA DARK", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") is an independent gaming utility. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
The app provides sensitivity recommendations, HUD layout references, device information, network latency checks, gaming knowledge, favorites, history, and related utility features. No user account is required.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app stores the following information locally on your Android device:
- Sensitivity profiles you generate and save
- Favorite and saved HUD references
- Applied HUD details and date
- Activity history, including saved ping-test results
- Gaming checklist progress
- Theme preferences
This information is stored locally using Android app storage. AURA DARK does not upload this local information to a developer account or cloud database. It remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app.
3. DEVICE INFORMATION
The Device Info feature reads information reported by Android, including device model, Android version, memory, processor, graphics processor, display refresh rate, storage, and battery information. This information is used to display results inside the app. AURA DARK processes it locally and does not transmit it as part of the Device Info feature.
Third-party advertising SDKs may independently receive device and app information when advertising is active, as explained in Section 5.
4. NETWORK FEATURES
The app uses internet access for the following purposes:
- The Ping Test opens short TCP connections to the public endpoints 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) and 8.8.8.8 (Google) to estimate connection latency. Measurements are processed locally. A result may be saved in the app's local activity history.
- The app downloads an advertising configuration from the developer's remote server so that enabled advertising providers and formats can be selected.
- The app opens external links only when you choose an action that requires them.
Network connections expose standard connection information, such as IP address and request metadata, to the contacted service. The app does not use the Ping Test to inspect browsing activity or network content.
5. ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
Depending on the active remote configuration, the app may use these advertising providers:
- Google AdMob
- Unity Ads
- Liftoff Monetize (Vungle)
- Pangle
- Yandex Mobile Ads
- Meta Audience Network
- TopOn
When an advertising provider is active, its SDK may automatically collect, receive, or process information such as:
- Android advertising identifier
- IP address
- Approximate location inferred from IP address
- Device manufacturer, model, operating system, language, and screen information
- App package, version, and advertising configuration
- Diagnostics, crash information, and SDK performance data
- Consent and privacy signals
- Ad requests, impressions, clicks, views, and other ad interactions
Advertising providers use this information to deliver ads, measure ad performance, limit repeated ads, prevent invalid activity and fraud, maintain security, and comply with legal requirements. Personalized advertising is used only when permitted by applicable law and your consent choices.
Where required, the app requests an advertising consent choice before requesting ads. You can revisit available advertising privacy choices from the Privacy Policy page inside the app when the option is required and available.
Each advertising provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
AURA DARK does not sell personal information.
Information may be shared with the advertising providers listed in Section 5 when their SDK is enabled. Those providers may process information on their own behalf and may use infrastructure or service providers located in other countries.
The app also allows user-initiated sharing. When you choose to share a sensitivity profile or HUD reference, Android shows a system share menu. The selected receiving app handles the shared content under its own privacy practices. Nothing is shared through this feature unless you choose to share it.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Locally stored app information remains on your device until you:
- Clear the app's storage through Android Settings, or
- Uninstall the app
Advertising providers determine their own retention periods for information processed by their SDKs. You can reset or limit the Android advertising identifier through your device settings. Where available, you can also update advertising privacy choices from the Privacy Policy page in the app.
Because AURA DARK does not create user accounts or maintain a developer-operated user database, there is no separate online account-deletion process.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you are not old enough to consent to data processing under the law of your country, use the app only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
9. SECURITY
We use reasonable measures to limit app access to information needed for its functions. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Advertising providers may process information on servers located outside your country. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable legal safeguards.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated when app features, advertising providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The latest version will display its updated effective date.
