Welcome to Aura: The Biohacking Dashboard ("we," "our," or "us"). Your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled within the Aura mobile application. We believe in transparency and aim to collect only the minimum amount of data necessary to provide and improve our service.
Aura is built with a "privacy-first" philosophy.
Personal Information: We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
User Content: Any content you create, upload, or process within Aura remains private to you. We do not store your personal files or data on our servers.
To improve Aura and ensure a smooth user experience, we use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. This helps us understand how the app is performing and which features are most useful.
Purpose: We use this data for A/B testing (comparing different versions of a feature) and general feature enhancement.
Privacy-First: TelemetryDeck is designed to be anonymous. It does not collect PII or use tracking cookies. It uses hashed identifiers to distinguish between unique users without ever knowing who those users actually are.
Internal Use Only: All telemetry data is used strictly for internal development. We do not sell or share this data with third-party data brokers.
To keep Aura available for free, we display advertisements within the app.
No Tracking: Unlike many apps, Aura does not use "tracking" for advertisements. We do not use your device’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to build a profile of your behavior across other apps or websites.
Non-Personalized Ads: Ads served in Aura are non-personalized. While the ad provider may use basic technical information (such as your device type, operating system, and general IP-based location) to deliver the ad, no cross-app tracking is performed.
App Improvements: We use the anonymous data from TelemetryDeck to identify bugs, monitor app stability, and determine which features to improve or expand.
Sustainability: Ad revenue allows us to continue maintaining and updating the app without charging a subscription fee.
