AuraPulse is a local music player. It reads audio files already stored on your device, plays them back, and keeps a personal listening history — all entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, do not create accounts, and do not transmit any personal information to ourselves or to any third party, except as described in Section 5 (Advertising).
All data listed below is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

We request only the permissions necessary for the features described above. We never access your camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or SMS.
All on-device data is used solely to:
Build and display your music library
Remember your listening history and generate personal stats (Wrapped)
Save your playlists, favourites, and app preferences
Personalise the app experience (greeting, top tracks, recently played)
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any of this data with anyone.
AuraPulse displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network operated by Google LLC. To serve relevant ads, AdMob may collect and use the following information from your device:
Advertising ID (Google AAID)
IP address
Device type and operating system version
Coarse location (derived from IP address)
App usage data
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time by going to:
Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
Or by resetting your Advertising ID from the same menu.
We have no access to the data AdMob collects and do not receive any personal information from Google as part of the advertising relationship.
We do not share your personal data with any party except:
Google AdMob — as described in Section 5, solely for advertising purposes
Legal obligations — if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority
All app data (play history, playlists, favourites, settings) resides on your device. You can delete it at any time by:
Clearing app data: Settings → Apps → AuraPulse → Storage → Clear Data
Uninstalling the app
Neither action requires contacting us. There is no server-side data to delete.
AuraPulse is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app collects no personal information itself, the primary consideration is AdMob's data collection. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has been using the app, you may contact us and we will advise on disabling personalised ads.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We use standard Android storage APIs and do not implement any special encryption beyond what Android provides by default.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where required, notify users through the app or the Play Store listing. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
