AuraPlay does not collect any personal information. We do not gather:
Name, email address, phone number, or account details
Location data or contacts
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or tracking data
Usage analytics or crash reports
The app only accesses audio files that you choose to play or manage on your device.
Audio files and their embedded metadata (title, artist, album, artwork, duration) are used solely to:
Display your music library
Enable playback, playlists, queue, and related features
Support equalizer, sleep timer, and other local playback tools
All processing happens entirely on your device. No audio data is ever uploaded, transmitted, or shared with our servers or any third party.
Depending on your Android version, AuraPlay may request:
Read media / storage access — to locate and play audio files stored on your device
Notifications — to show media playback controls
Foreground service — to continue playing music when the app is in the background
These permissions are used only for core playback features. You can revoke them at any time in your device Settings; some features will then become unavailable.
All app data — including playlists, favorites, playback history, equalizer settings, and preferences — is stored locally in the app’s private storage on your device.
We do not maintain any remote databases or servers that hold your content. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes this information (except for audio files that remain in your device’s shared storage).
5Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. AuraPlay contains no advertising SDKs, analytics services, or tracking libraries.
Your music files leave the device only if you explicitly share them using the system share sheet or another app of your choice.
6Data Security
Because all processing and storage occur on your device, the security of your data depends primarily on your device’s own protections (lock screen, encryption, etc.). We implement reasonable measures within the app to keep data sandboxed and inaccessible to other apps under normal conditions.
No method of local storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7Children’s Privacy
AuraPlay does not knowingly collect or process any personal data from children under the age of 13. The app is safe for general audiences and does not target children specifically.
If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
8Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the app when possible.
