Dr. Syed Aun Muhammad is serving as Associate Professor at Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (IMBB), Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. He graduated with honors from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and got his degree in the field of Pharmaceutical and Health Biotechnology. In his lab, he is supervising M.Phil. and PhD students actively involved in Health/Pharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology.
His major research interests include Drug Designing, Vaccine Designing, Genetic investigation of type 2 diabetes mellitus and Cancer, and Systems Biology approaches. Dr. Aun has won a number of research grants and research projects for execution of his research. He has published more than 100 research articles in renowned indexed journals with approximate impact factor of 160. During his study, he visited the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Indiana USA and worked on different aspects of computational biology and personalized medicine at Indiana Center for Systems Biology and Personalized Medicine. He completed his professional training from Institute of Biopharmaceutical Engineering and Technologies, Wenzhou Medical University, China.
