Hello! I am Avinash Upadhyay, a Doctoral student in the Thermal and Fluid Transport Laboratory (TFTL), supervised by Prof. Rishi Raj, at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna.
My current research aims to advance the understanding of boiling physics through synchronized audio–visual–thermal measurements enhanced by data-driven deep learning–based strategies.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MJP Rohilkhand University, Uttar Pradesh, and joined IIT Patna in 2019 as a Master’s student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. During my master’s studies, I investigated pool boiling with surfactant solutions through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, primarily modeling the interactions between surfactant-laden bubbles.
