For True Rebellion!

Akuma is a brand-new comic series from the creator of the legendary Heroes series. Set in a fictional version of the real world, the United States has faced a dangerous earthquake without warning. The titular devil, Akumarus, has arisen, and is spreading his Devil Aura, a transparent but menacing substance, to those who are extremely insane or somber. While America is too apathetic and ignorant to do anything about it, a group of soldiers comes together to either rehabilitate them back to normal or strike them down if they're beyond saving and is stuck being savages known as Offenders.

Enter the Demonic Rebellion. Their mission? Shoot the devil Akumarus in the face! They have been in service for 5 years now, and as the numbers of Offenders begin to slightly dwindle, they are one step closer in dealing with the devil. That's where our protagonist, Noir, comes in! Despite being a soldier himself, he is a vigilante, as he strives to be the one who will shoot Akumarus guts out, with or without the Demonic Rebellion. His bright nature, and radical action moves caught the attention of the desparate.
