I am an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance and Economics of the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. I received my Ph.D. in International Business Administration (Finance) in the Division of International Banking and Finance Studies of the A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business at Texas A&M International University in 2024, masters (MS dual degree) in Economics and Data Science from South Dakota State University in 2019, and a BA (Honors) in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana in 2016. I am also a certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA).

Research interests: Empirical corporate finance, fintech, household finance, and international finance. I also have an interest in macroeconomic issues, statistical techniques and social finance & justice studies.

Teaching areas: Business (corporate) finance, financial markets & institutions.
