If your organisation needs help involving volunteers, please contact us. We offer full guidance on the process of involving and managing volunteers for the benefit of your community or voluntary group.
Grab a cuppa and join us for our digital give-and-get for leaders of volunteers. Chat and connect with your colleagues in the sector.
Join the team at Volunteer Ireland as they take a coffee break and informally chat about all things volunteering. Please note that these small groups will be participant-led, so please come prepared to share and ask questions about volunteer engagement and management in a safe space.
This monthly online event is aimed at all Leaders of Volunteers / Volunteer Managers / Coordinators (paid and unpaid, from Ireland and overseas) who engage volunteers in their organisations.

Carlow Fringe Arts Festival 2026 continues until Bank Holiday Monday, August 3rd with the focus this year being Community and Creativity. Visit HERE for a full schedule of events.
Younity Family Picnic takes place on Saturday, August 1st in Hanover Park from 2pm to 5pm. This is FREE event and open to all.
Carlow Youth Theatre present their annual show which this year is called A Youth Theatre in Search of ... Something? on Saturday, August 7th at 8pm in Visual. Tickets are €10.
Carlow Vintage and Classic Motor Club hold their Annual Show in Duckett's Grove. The show begins on Saturday, August 8th with a parade through Carlow Town, leaving the Woodford Dolmen at 4pm and travelling to Duckett's Grove. The main show takes place on Sunday, August 9th and entry is €5 per car.
The Trailmen - New Men's Evening Trail Series takes place on Monday, August 10th in Oughaval Woods, Stradbally. Departure is 7pm. Click HERE for tickets.
Women in Sports Guided Hike up to Lugnaquilla takes place on Saturday, August 15th from 9am to 4pm. Participants will be taught by a professional mountaineering Ireland course director the basics of map reading skills, how to set the map, navigation tips and how to keep safe while hiking in the Irish mountains in poor visibility. Women's DIY and Home Skills Course will run over four Tuesday mornings in Carlow Women's Centre (R93X8D3). This FREE course will be delivered by Tullow Men's Shed and will take on place August 11th, 18th, 25th and September 1st from 10am to 12:30pm. No experience necessary. National Heritage Week takes place from August 15th to 23rd with a number of events taking place throughout the county. Visit www.heritageweek.ie for the full schedule of events.
Carlow Heritage Wellbeing Project takes place on Saturday, August 15th. Join the project and visit Sherwood Park House, Kilbride and Borris House, Borris. For full details and registration before August 3rd, email nshannon@carlowcoco.ie.
