Her research combines XR-based testbeds and perspectives from robotic augmentation to derive empirical insights and design implications for interfaces that are intuitive, coordinated, and manageable.

Saarland UniversityMarie’s research explores interaction design for wearable robots, including robotic limbs and exoskeletons, using low-fidelity prototyping and empirical methods. She is interested in leveraging the human body as both input and output to create natural and seamless human–robot interfaces.
