As a university educator, I view my role in the classroom as actively guiding a learning process to provoke interest, intellectual development, and student ownership within education. I encourage students to move beyond simply explaining and applying concepts presented in my course, but to become thinkers capable of connecting knowledge from inside the classroom to outside events and experiences.
