Audio Output Presets is designed for one purpose: save audio output device presets and route browser tab audio to user-selected output devices.
The extension runs media control scripts only after the user clicks the Pro playback control, and connects to the product settings page for device permission, Pro status, and billing.
Depending on the features used, Audio Output Presets may process:
Audio output device identifiers and names selected by the user.
Named device presets saved by the user.
A locally generated anonymous user identifier.
Pro or billing status metadata.
Tab audio streams captured via Chrome's tabCapture API for routing to the selected output device.
Data is used only to:
Provide the extension's stated single-purpose workflow (audio device switching and routing).
Save user device presets and preferences.
Verify Pro status.
Complete user-requested checkout, trial, or settings actions.
Maintain and improve product reliability.
The extension uses browser storage to save device presets, preferences, anonymous user IDs, and Pro status.
Users can remove local extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data in the browser.
Audio Output Presets contacts the product status service (ext-api.ideaguard.dev) for Pro status verification, trial activation, and billing status checks. No page content or audio data is sent to any server.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Audio Output Presets does not store full credit card numbers.
The product receives limited payment metadata, such as Pro status and transaction status, to enable paid features.
Audio Output Presets does not sell user data.
Data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as hosting, billing, and Pro status verification.
Local extension data remains in the browser until the user clears it or removes the extension.
Server-side data is retained only as long as needed to provide the product, maintain billing records, or resolve support requests.
Users can disable or remove the extension, clear extension storage, or contact support for privacy questions.
