My name is Marley Aud I want to pursue a career in the coast guard. I am in the tenth grade and go to Leonardtown high school. The reason I want to pursue a goal on the coast guard is I love the water and everything about it. I also love helping people when they need help. This is why i want to pursue a career in the coast guard. 

I have a lot of training working on boats and water. I also have experience helping people. I've worked on a charter boat sense I was 14 and have been doing it for over 2 years now. It has taught me a lot of importing things that can help even out of the boat. I know how to tie knots, tie the boat up, clean, and everything there needs to be done. I have also been volunteering at my local firehouse for a little over 9 months. it has taught me alot of really useful skills that can help in my career.  Ive took a class called mate one through the fire house for our serch and rescue bot. It has taught m a lot of search and rescue tactics useful for the coast guard. Though my classes I have learned how to use different tools to do different things as well as how to work better with people and pay attentions and listen to directions. 

After high school I plan to get my captains license and then go into the caust gaurd. I believe it will be the best for me and it will give me many opportunities to make money and help do my pashing.  I do want to go to the coast gaurd acedemy that would be the only schoolong after highschool i would wnat to do.
