Auburn Ski Association Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations to 2017 Edward Little High School graduates Victoria Beliveau and Tyme Finnerty, who each received a $500 Auburn Ski Association Scholarship at Lost Valley recently.
Victoria Beliveau is attending the University of Maine at Orono. Victoria’s high school GPA placed her in the top 10% of her graduating class. She is a member of NHS, and was involved in many sports, clubs, and activities at Edward Little. She was a three-sport athlete throughout high school, accumulating numerous conference awards. Victoria came in third in Slalom in the Class A Alpine State Championship in 2017, as well as earning an eighth place award in the Class A Alpine Giant Slalom competition in 2017. She was also one of twelve girls who earned a spot on the Maine team and competed at the Eastern High School Championships her junior and senior year.
Tyme Finnerty is attending the University of Vermont where she is pursuing studies related to Environmental Engineering. She earned a GPA high enough to finish third in her graduating class of 210 students. Tyme has a phenomenal work ethic and time management skills. Tyme was inducted into the National Honor Society her junior year at EL. She was a three sport varsity athlete playing Field Hockey, Nordic Skiing and Lacrosse. She was captain of the field hockey team both her junior and senior year and captain of the Nordic team her sophomore, junior, and senior year. She received the Larry Davis Skiing award her junior year. She was a volunteer teacher/coach for the Bill Koch Youth Skiing program throughout her high school years and still volunteers when she is home.
