Ministries
Worship
Come as you are! We offer a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere in which to worship our Lord. Sunday morning service is traditional in nature but with special contemporary music added in too.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month, which is open to everyone who loves Jesus, earnestly repents of their sin, and wishes to live in peace with God and one another. You do not need to be baptized or a member of our church to partake- it is the Lord's table, not ours!
Fellowship
Fellowship is important to developing and maintaining an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Aside from Sunday services we offer opportunities to gather at other times such as carry-in suppers and more.
Education
During worship services, Children’s Church and nursery care is available downstairs in the Education Room for children up through 6th grade.
Adult Men's and Women's Bible study groups meet during some weeks. Email Pastor Mike at mike.beezley@inumc.org for more details of meeting times and current itinerary.
Outreach
We believe we are all called by God to reach out to others. Aldersgate United Methodist lives out this calling through missionary support, community projects and more.
Some of the ministries we support include food donations to area food banks, providing jail bibles, ministry to area housing projects, our annual Feed the Farmers mission event, and financial support for many local missions as well as around our country and world.
In the summer months, we provide a carry-in lunch and worship with the residents of Hoffman Lake campground.
Every Fall we present a free community outdoor movie night that features a free meal and snacks for those who attend, all while collecting non-perishable food items for the Combined Community Services food bank.
