Worship
Come as you are! In our 10:30 am service we offer a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere in which to worship our Lord. Sunday morning service is traditional in nature but with special contemporary music added in too.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month, which is open to everyone who loves Jesus, earnestly repents of their sin, and wishes to live in peace with God and one another. You do not need to be baptized or a member of our church to partake- it is the Lord's table, not ours!
Fellowship
Fellowship is important to developing and maintaining an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Aside from Sunday services we offer opportunities to gather at other times such as carry-in suppers, block party and movie nights, and more.
Education
Our church offers a number of education opportunities for all ages.
Children's Church is offered downstairs during worship services (right after our Prayer Time) for any child that wants to go down for it. Nursery care is available downstairs as well.
The Youth Network- a collaborative youth group for 5th-12th grades - is jointly offered by area United Methodist churches. This meets throughout the school year, and consists of educational opportunities, dinner and game nights, mission projects and youth trips.
Church camp is a priority for our church, and we do what we can to see that camp opportunities are made available to any of our children that want to go.
Adult bible studies are offrered throughout the year, especially during Lent and Advent.
Outreach
We believe we are all called by God to reach out to others. Aldersgate United Methodist lives out this calling through missionary support, community projects and more.
Some of the ministries we support include food donations to area food banks, our annual Feed the Farmers mission event, and financial support for many local missions as well as around our country and world.
Every Fall we present a free community outdoor block party and indoor movie night that features a free meal and snacks for those who attend.
